This first picture was drawn by Evan and you can tell right away that he loves war games. This is a picture of a castle that is being attacked by a catapult (the catapult is black and on the bottom left of the picture). If you follow that black line coming out of the catapult you can see where the ammo hit the castle. The red lines coming out of the castle are the people inside the building and they are shooting arrows at the catapult guys. You can also see the army inside the castle walls with their swords getting ready for the big battle. The king is in the middle of the castle (in the little square) cheering on his soldiers.
Here is Evan's cute farm. He has pigs saying, "Oink, oink," a horse saying, "Na, na," a duck sitting in the pond saying, "Quak, quak," and a black spotted cow saying, "Moo, moo." And they all live in a red barn.
This picture was drawn by Mark. Look at it first and see if you can figure out what this is a picture of.
It is a picture of a guy picking his nose. Notice the two eyes, complete with eyelashes, at the top, then the giant nostrils and a line going to the one on the left. That's him picking his nose. The best part is when he showed it to Eric, Eric said in a matter-of-fact voice, "That's really gross...but good job." Yes, it's moments like these that make a parent proud.
And lastly, for all you BYU fans out there, this one is from Evan.
It says, "BYU rook (rocks), BYU rook (rocks) so much you can nevr get me to like a nathr (another) teme.

They are quite the little artists! Very cute, thanks for sharing.
That first picture looked like something out of "Lord of the Rings!" I just love seeing these "boy" things! They are a far cry from the butterflies and princesses that are being drawn at our house. Can I just say that the nose picking one was my favorite? If only all nose picking could be that efficient! Looks like those nostrils would be big enough for a thorough job! So cute~!
That is so awesome! I never could draw and so I think it is great when kids can! I especially like the BYU rocks! Keep those! They might be famous one day!!!!
We have the same paper problem at our house too! We have paper everywhere! We should collect it all (after we have scanned all their precious creations of course) and have one huge bonfire!
Jamie, the jam recipe is on the pectin box. It is soooooo simple. I got the freezer pectin or you can get the regular. It is too easy. You just need sugar, pectin and fruit! IT IS DELICIOUS!!!
