Say "Mama"

Eric's grandma, Frances Raymond, is here staying with us for a week (along with Eric's dad). When Evan was a little baby we went to California to visit them and she kept telling him, "Say mama." Well, when Evan was old enough to start talking he didn't say mama first, he said dada...which is what most babies do. Now Tyler is the baby and when grandma saw him she told him, "Say mama." We were having dinner at Joelle's house and grandma was playing with Tyler and saying, "Say mama." Out of the blue, what do you know? Tyler said, "Mama." He was mimicking her, of course, and has no idea what it means. What shocked us even more is he kept mimicking her over and over again. Here's what we caught on video...

That is so stinkin' cute! I loved when Abigail said Mom for the first time. It just warms your heart as a mom.

That's awesome you got it on tape! He is too darling, the video of him with the bubble wrap was priceless. Isn't it funny how kids are somewhat amused by getting startled? I guess it is true for all of us or I wouldn't have gone on tower of terror so many times! Cute boys!
